TIPS FOR USING SOAP AND CLEANSING BARS

Soap and cleansing bars require some getting used to, if you’re accustomed to liquid soaps. Here are some useful tips on using our LESS WASTE products.

DELICATE PEONY SHOWER BAR

Instructions for Use

Using your hands or a washcloth, work up a lather with the Shower Bar and then gently massage the foam onto your body. Take a moment to enjoy the delicate fragrance and then rinse. After use, allow the cleansing bar to completely dry.

What is the best way to store the Shower Bar?

In order for your cleansing bars to last a long time, be sure that they are stored in a dry place after use. A soap tray that allows water to drain is particularly beneficial. These products are also ideal for air travel as they easily fit in and are permitted in carry-on bags. You can find a travel soap container at most retailers.

SILKY COTTON FACIAL CLEANSING BAR

Instructions for Use

Use the Facial Cleansing Bar in the morning and evening. First, work the cleansing bar into a lather in your hands, and then gently massage the foam onto your face. Rinse your face well with water. After use, allow the cleansing bar to dry completely.

Is the Facial Cleansing Bar suitable for dry, sensitive skin?

The cleansing bar gently cleans your face using soap-free surfactants and clay. Its skin-friendly pH of 5.5 and soothing natural ingredients, like almond oil and aloe vera, also make it perfect for dry, sensitive skin.

Does the Facial Cleansing Bar remove makeup?

The Facial Cleansing Bar thoroughly cleans your face and also removes makeup. However, this product is not suitable for removing eye makeup. We recommend using alternative products that have been specifically tested for the sensitive area around your eyes.

EXOTIC FRUITS SHAMPOO BAR

Instructions for Use

Wet the Shampoo Bar (either directly in the water or with wet hands) and then work up a lather. Gently massage the shampoo from the root to the tip of your hair and then rinse it out thoroughly. Allow the cleansing bar to dry well after use.

How many times can the shampoo bar be used?

The shampoo bar is equivalent to about 1-2 300ml bottles of liquid shampoo. However, how long it lasts depends on the length of your hair and how frequently you use it.

Why does the Shampoo Bar develop less of a lather than liquid shampoo?

The Shampoo Bar generally works up just as much of a lather as liquid shampoos, though you may need to take a little more time to work up the same amount of lather. Excessive foam is more likely to dry out your hair and scalp, so keep in mind you may not need as much as you think.

Does your hair need time to get used to the Shampoo Bar?

Depending on what kind of liquid shampoo you used before, your hair may need some time to acclimate to our Shampoo Bar. Many liquid shampoos contain silicones that make your hair feel soft, and based on its natural formulation, our Shampoo Bar does not contain silicones. If you used natural liquid shampoos that did not contain any silicones, then there is a good chance you will hardly notice any difference when using our Shampoo Bar.

REVITALIZING HEMP SOAP-FREE CLEANSING BAR

How do I properly store the cleansing bar?

Soap-free cleansing bars are often used improperly. After use, the product should be allowed to dry as much as possible and kept away from moisture. More often than not, bars of soap are kept in a tray with leftover water on the sink. A cleansing bar that is wet encourages the growth of microorganisms, so for this reason, we highly recommend using a tray that drains, enabling hygienic storage of the bar.
